Create Your Very Own Faerie!!

Glittering Glen is very pleased to offer you the opportunity to have a Faerie or MerFae from The Glen created just for you!! You get to decide what her hair and eye color will be.

You decide what pose and You decide what kind of outfit she will wear!
I have a wide range of materials to choose from to create that faerie/merfae you've been dreaming of!

Too many choices? Don't worry, we can talk everything out and decide them together if you wish.

General Info:
Each faerie or merfae takes approximately 4-8 weeks to create depending on her complexity and shipping takes about 3-7 days.

The Faeries and MerFae from The Glen:
* have a strong wire armature
* made from the finest polymer clays
* are blushed in all the right places with professional paints and pigments to accent all of their features
* Their beautiful eyes are coated with a gloss sealant to create a lifelike shine
* Their wings or fins are either sculpted polymer clay or can be iridescent cellophane
* Wings/Fins are over wire and are usually removable for safer shipping

No molds are ever used anywhere to create these sculptures, they are completely original hand sculpted and will never be duplicated. Guaranteed!

Your faerie/merfae comes to you from a smoke-free studio and will be very well packed in foam, cotton batting, packing peanuts and double boxed for extra safety while shipping.

She will come to you signed and numbered. A signed and laminated Certificate of Authenticity, which can also be used as a magnet, is also available upon request.

I prefer to create my faeries within the 6" - 10" range. They are usually adult females and their outfits are made up of different kinds of cotton trims, feathers, silk, handmade paper, tulle, or anything else that fits their personalities. I normally do not sculpt male faeries and will only do so on very rare occasions and would require a considerable amount of begging on your part... and possibly a bribe containing chocolate :)

Pricing:
Commissions will start at...

$300 for sculpts in sitting, kneeling or laying poses
$350 for any designs/themes that will need small simple bases
$375 for ones in standing poses
For designs or concepts with very complex themes or poses let me know what you have in mind and I can give you a price quote.
$175 for Wishing Faeries
$350 for Shoulder Faeries

Shipping:
Shipping anywhere in the US is $20. No International shipping at this time, sorry. You can request faster shipping than Ground and I will get you a quote.

All of my faeries are packed extremely well in foam, cotton batting and are double boxed for safety while traveling to you. They are sent fully insured and you will receive a tracking code when she is mailed. If you live around Cambridge, OH, we could arrange for pickup to avoid shipping hazards and costs.
