"The Faeries of Glittering Glen are always so pretty, so perfect to human eyes... but deep in the roots of the great Hartwood Yew tree, around its base and extending into the grasses, there is a group of fae that few have ever seen; The Feral Fae of Glittering Glen. The ferals like to get dirty; to play rough and tumble. You won't see any long flowing dresses on these faeries; they wouldn't be caught dead in such a thing!
Nissa is no exception and she loves the freedom of the wild places. The ferals have a beauty all their own, despite their odd skin tones and often longer limbs. Nissa is happy with who she is and revels in being different from the others."

NEW from Glittering Glen... the OOAK handsculpted faerie... Nissa.
Something has caught Nissa's attention as she climbs up onto her favorite mushroom. What could it be? Maybe it's her dragonfly friends or a butterfly, but whatever it is she sure looks happy to see them. Nissa is a green tinted faerie with long slender arms and legs. She measures approx. 9 1/2" from table top to the tips of her wings with a wingspan of 11 1/2". Her mushroom base is 4 3/4" x 7 1/2". The mushroom is handsculpted over an armature and is handpainted then sealed. No molds whatsoever were used to create Nissa (or her mushroom), she is a completely original one of a kind faerie and will never be duplicated. She is sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature with special attention to details right down to tiny fingernails and skin creases. She has been blushed with professional paints and sealed for extra protection. Nissa's spunky red hair is Tibetan Mohair and her leafy wings are in earthy shades of green iridescent cellophane.
