I'd like you to meet Caoimhe. Her name is pronounced key-vuh and is Gaelic for graceful, gentle. Caoimhe, being a Wishing Faerie 'n all, can be hung anywhere that could use a lil more Irish Faerie cheer.... maybe even a bit o luck. She has a gentle, subtle twist to her waist with one hip slightly raised, none of which shows up well on camera unfortunately. Her wings have a flowery leafy design to them, which gives her an earthy nature feel. I think she also has a touch of pixy mischief about her too. She reminds me of someone, but I can't place it. Let me know if you figure out who it is.
Wishing Faeries are very colorful, happy lil faeries and each one comes with their own Wishing Gem. I must warn you, they do not enjoy being in curios. They would much rather be out so they can keep an eye on things.... Besides, they tell me it's hard to grant wishes when yer stuck behind glass!! Each faerie is a handsculpted Original One of A Kind (OOAK) adult collectible. They have strong wire hangers and are slightly weighted so that they hang straight. They can be hung anywhere you'd like whether it is on the wall or glittering in the window (However, they have requested Not to be attached to ceiling fans!!). They are sculpted to their waist/hips and their lower halves are created with a multitude of lace, ribbons, a whole string of beads and gems as well as other fun fabrics and embellishments. Wishing Faeries' arms are also gently poseable.
I hope that you enjoy my Wishing Faeries as much as I enjoy creating them!!
Caoimhe is approx. 18" from her Jasper Wishing Gem to the tips of her flowery wings. Speaking of wings, her's are gently poseable and are removeabe for shipping safety. She is adorned in layers of rich greens with yellow and rust accents. Her strand of beads include real Peridot and Jasper stone chips for a lovely earthy sparkle. Caoimhe has been handpainted with professional paints and then sealed for extra protection. Her eyes are also handpainted in shades of striking green. Caoimhe's hair is my favorite shade of rust red Tibetan Mohair. No molds whatsoever were used anywhere on Caoimhe. She comes to you signed and numbered. A signed Certificate of Authenticity (which is also a magnet) is also available upon request.
I can't guarantee that she will grant your wish or give ya luck, but ya never know unless you try :)
